- Our experts show you how!
Each
year we bring together a host of renowned experts
and authors in natural healing fields for an exceptional
week of learning, fun, camaraderie, and great
food.
THE
PROGRAM
From
ancient wisdom to modern discoveries, from personal
health to healing the environment and creating
peace, you are sure to find topics that inspire
and interest you.
Classes
focus on changes participants can make in their
own lives to support improved health, greater
happiness, and a deeper overall feeling of well-being.
Create
Your Own Schedule Around Your Personal Interests
Look
at the schedule page and you will see 6 class
time slots for each day, some with only 1 featured
speaker, and others with up to 5 teachers to choose
from. Click on the classes and events link to
see all the great choices.
If
you have a hard time choosing between classes
during the same time slot, we'll be recording
the audio for some of the classes. You can attend
one lecture and buy the cd recording of the class
you missed.
Experience
the difference food and lifestyle can make in
the way you look and feel.
Start
your day by relaxing before breakfast OR choose
from one of our active classes like yoga, qi gong,
tai chi, and fitness classes.
Our
delicious, whole-foods vegan macrobiotic meals
will nurture you on many levels.
This
year, for the first time, we will be serving a
GLUTEN-FREE FRIENDLY meal option.
Meet
like-minded people and enjoy daily fun social
events
Along
with all the great classes, there will be plenty
of time to socialize around the dining tables,
in the cafe, or during our planned social events
that happen every day between 1:30 and 2:45:
- Tuesday:
Vegan Ice Cream Floats and "get to know
you" games.
- Wednesday:
Line dancing and cookies. Dance or just watch
as some of our staff lead the Electric Slide,
Makarena, and other fun line dances.
- Thursday:
Two simultaneous events; choose from singles
speed dating, or get into great conversations
around a table with our "conversation starter
cards."
- Friday:
The conversation starter cards event was such
a hit in 2007 we're doing it twice in 2008 and
serving snacks.
- Saturday:
We're
still in the planning stages for Saturdays social
event, and it's sure to be fun.
Relax
and Rejuvenate
Relax, enjoy a shiatsu massage or other wellness
session, or stroll around the beautiful campus.
